Senior Production Planner

Quality Assurance Manager (Post holder)

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an inspiring and strategic thinking Quality Assurance Manager (Post holder). The successful candidate will be accountable to the Director of Quality Assurance for the day-to-day management of the Quality Department including: implementation and management of the Operational Quality Management System (QMS) programme and integration, so far as is practicable, the Quality Management System through continuous review, auditing processes and quality processes such as internal audits, risk assessments, supplier and product audits, employee training and feedback, incident and accident reporting and investigations in line with current legislation and best practice.

This is a full-time position with family status based in Abu Dhabi and will attract a competitive salary plus additional benefits: Accommodation Allowance, Schooling Allowance, Medical cover, 30 working days’ holiday per annum and one return flight per annum to home country.

We are seeking candidates with the following certifications and experience:

Essential Criteria:

  • Bachelor degree in Engineering, Aerospace, Aeronautical or equivalent
  • Certificate in Quality Management
  • Certificate in Safety Management Systems
  • Qualification in Internal and ISO 9001 or equivalent Lead Auditor
  • Strong knowledge of UAE Air Legislation
  • Strong knowledge of CAR Part 145, CAR M, EASA Part 145 and MOE (Training)
  • Strong knowledge of Quality Management Systems
  • Good knowledge of Human Factors, FW and RW aircraft types, Fuel Tank Safety Phase 1, Aircraft Maintenance standards and Safety Management Systems.
  • Good knowledge of Safety and Quality Software and Applications.
  • Excellent English Language skills both written and verbal

Desirable Criteria:

  • Previously held a GCAA Post holder approved role
  • Q-Pulse experience
  • Train the Trainer
  • Human Factors (bi-annual recurrent), FTS (Phase 2) and EWIS Certificates
